It worked though. They heard through their closed windows and did not right hook me. So who is to say

Yelled "I will beat the shit out of you" at a driver that was about to right hook me, maybe a little too loudly and believably because I could immediately feel everybody's eyes staring at me
one thing about those women i have to say is that they seem to share my preoccupation with unique place names
Just came across the town Arkadelphia. Who the hell let those people cook out there
nah i took it to Blue City. i feel really bad for complaining honestly I am kind of asking the only guy in town able to do this work and i think he's just swamped is my guess
respectfully too like i think they have bigger fish to fry than stealing a broken 1986 steel frame. i stripped it of parts before i took it in
i respect the shop and owen as very reputable people i just think there's like One Guy in the state who does framework and he's got a big backlog. but no real updates aside from "oh yeah it's with Owen at the off-site fab shop"
It was like 1/9 man. I call in about once a month to check and every time they're like "yeah should be done in a week or two"
I'm not gonna lie when I dropped off the peachy for frame repairs I knew it would take a long time but I did kind of expect to have it back in time for leaves to be on trees again
we need to make germs illegal
Anyways I'm into the build plan because duh, but there needs to be a short-term policy proposal to right some of this in the near term because that's not gonna hit for like... a decade
Also impossible to budget or plan for anything. Sellers and landlords listing a price but explicitly expecting you to give some amount above, but not specifying what that is. Like buddy I wouldn't have even come here if you're only entertaining bids 10% over asking, you should've listed 10% higher
but I guess just like. You go to sign a lease or buy a house and several dozen Mr. Monopolies walk up and drop sacks of cash on the table and tell you to pound sand. And then you go outside and see normal people and you're like where did you all come from?
I think the truth of it is probably closer to people over-leveraging their debt/obligations and throwing money at the problem in a panic
One thing that drives me a little insane about the whole process of getting housing right now--renting or buying--is just this sensation that you are completely surrounded by people who are loaded to the gills and ready to just throw money around like it's no business at all
I also think that if you get enough violations on your license they should make you drive a Ford Pinto until the fuel tank does its thing
Please god let me drive a Reliant Robin on the Dan Ryan
Enough with the JDM vans. We should make the next import auto trend shitty European budget cars. We should have car meetups for guys that drive an old Renault Twingo or a Peugeot iOn. Maybe a Citroën Axel
Hey guys, today we're completing Riverdale on Wandrer in one go. No, we're not doing it particularly fast, and we're going to ride in an assertive but safe and deliberate manner. Shout-out to my sponsors at Hello Fresh,
My parents often tell me I should get sponsored for my cycling and beyond the "no" argument, it's really funny to imagine the world in which whatever i am doing on a bicycle is capable of being sponsored
selling my house based on how well i vibe with the buyer's pizza order
Lmfao nah he's pushing
Haha my brother-in-law records his lawn mowing sessions to strava
also adding modelos to my island. for her
adding Lori Lightfoot to my tomodachi life island
this is like watching Michelangelo chisel La Pieta out of the marble blank in real-time. incredible
(guy trying to get some work done late on a Friday night in that building) God Damn It
I don't think he's even been online since 2023. Still think about it regularly
There was a time years ago that lives rent free when bike guy Matt was hanging out in an underpass in river north during a storm when a random woman started haranguing him for her food because she just assumed the only guy that would be on a bike at that time was her doordasher. Haven't forgotten
