I've always wanted kids. At a certain age, too, I started to realise how adorable they are. I now have a son on the spectrum. Neither have I loved, nor been so infuriated by, another living creature. ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜

Thank you for saying that! I'll brood. I'm sure. I'm prepared, though. I've got a good writing group.

Nope. I don't keep up with news as much as I used to. It's too much.

Damn. RIP to Tim Sandlin, who wrote the funniest trilogy ever: Skipped Parts, Sorrow Floats, and Social Blunders. Read him in my twenties alongside people like Daryl Spencer, Michael Doane, Willaim T. Vollman and Kirsten Bakis, he opened my mind to what fiction could DO during a way formative time.

Saw it this very night. Laughed hard a few times (think I was the only one, gratifying in such a movie). Think they could definitely have gone darker at the end with that whole scene. Didn't mind the denouement, though, partially saw it coming. I'll definitely rewatch - had an absolute blast!

Agreed. Side question: have you ever craved an apple? (Note - nearly came out as "carved". Less interesting, imo, though would show true dedication).

The latter is more detrimental, but less embarrassing.

Do you mean zero grav? Or have you shit yourself, it coming out like a sharp brown spear, because you've been tossed into space?

Watching Scream (2022) for the first time. Is it bad that I thought, "Well, if Ghostface pins him to the door, and lets it swing open, he can see his dead mother in the driveway?

As a huge fan of snl, I was dubious about the UK version, but my doubts have been assuaged. It might be, partly, because I'm from the same place as the host, but the skits about Prince Andrew and themed pubs were like SNL transplanted for a UK/Ireland aud. Likely curated for both, but here for it! ๐ŸŽ‰
