What do “Right to Compute” laws look like in practice? It would mean you have no knowledge or no say when AI is used to make decisions about your life. Stay tuned for my next video on my legislation to fix just that.

Just wrapped up speaking on a panel on AI policy. Proud to have served as the voice for state government in AI policy on the panel.

It was so wonderful to hear directly from workers in my districts about why these priorities impact their work and livelihood. Thank you all for building up the union to lift all boats!
Thank YOU @seiu509.bsky.social and the Tufts Grad Workers Union (TUGWU) members for coming to the State House to lobby for taxing the wealthy and corporations, protecting workers' rights, and fighting to protect our immigrant communities.
Thank ATASK for your work and being on the frontlines of standing up and supporting survivors and our community.
I really appreciated our discussions on the need to go beyond the Protect Act to end 287(g) agreements, and protect immigrants beyond courthouses.
Survivors, regardless of their immigration status, deserve support and protection.
Last week I joined Asian Pacific Islanders Civic Action Network's Advocacy Day with the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence. It was powerful to hear advocates share their lived experiences around immigration, housing, language justice, and civil rights.
It was great to meet with constituents in Remnant to discuss issues like affordable housing, the climate crisis, and funding our public education and transportation systems.
Thanks to all those who made it out! Plus I got to reunite w my friend and fellow Bernie 2016 alum!

It was a truly joyous event with so many advocates, community leaders, and supporters coming together to uplift the voices and rights of our neighbors. Thank you to the SCC board members, staff, volunteers, and everyone who made this event possible.
It was an honor to attend the SCC Annual Block Party event last week. Hearing @ayannapressley.bsky.social’s words calling for equity, economic justice, and protecting our immigrant communities was so much of what so many of us needed.
I’m committed to continue to fight for a Massachusetts in which a trans youth and siblings are safe and cherished for who they are.
It was so moving to hear directly from trans activists and trans youth for at the The Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth’s Trans Day of Visibility event today at the State House. We need to be proactive in protecting, recognizing, and celebrating all of our trans siblings.
This about basic transparency for how AI is used to make decisions about our lives. A choice was made here, and it wasn’t made for you. You should get to ask.
It makes it as hard for a city to demand basic AI transparency as it is to restrict free speech. Under this law, you wouldn’t even have the right to know when AI decides whether you get a home, or get healthcare coverage, or when a student gets flagged in school.
AI is making decisions about your life. You deserve to know what they are.
Bills called "Right to Compute" are spreading across the US, pushed by conservative dark money.
