🗣The final session of our 2-day ACEMID Researcher Workshop 2025 included a very interesting and insightful perspective on the ACEMID project from a social sciences perspective, presented by Xianxian Jiang. It also discussed current and potential future grant (applications).
🗣 Session 3, "Synergy Grant session", covered some of the projects funded by the Synergy Grant. These include projects about trust in AI, AI for lesion detection and a projects about melanoma risk assessment tools.
🗣 Session 2, "Consumer Forum", focussed on providing our wonderful consumers w/ updates on our cohort study prrsented and the use of AI in skin cancer detection. The session ended with an interactive Q&A/poll 📊
🌟 Day 2 of the ACEMID Researcher Workshop 2025 started off w/ a "Melanographer session", in which Prof Pablo Fernández-Peñas highlighted positive and constructive feedback from our Melanographers who conduct the study visits 📷🔎, and developed future action points to improve our work!
Session 4, "ACEMID-ASSESS and Health Economics", concludes day one of this year's workshop!
We've had some very interesting and engaging presentations questions and discussions with the audience about various topics and look forward to tomorrow's session 👋🏻
Session 2, the "Cohort Session Research Questions Session", focussed on current and future research questions. With such a rich dataset the ACEMID project produces, what research questions can we address? 💭
