Yeah, I've been feeling guilty about my stuff getting attention even tho I shouldn't be. That mindset not only makes you miserable, but also taints the relationship you have with that person.

It sucks that you're frustrated about your own skills, but there's no need to bring another artist down in the moment they should celebrate their own achievements. God knows I've been feeling guilty about my own stuff for months because of it.

Words of advice: if you're friends with another artist and the first thing you do after they finish a piece they're proud of is complain about how "you can't draw as good as you want", "your own art sucks", "you lost all the love for drawing/your character". Don't.
