Very sad to see this come to pass. Writing for ‘Star Wars Insider’ was always an absolute pleasure and allowed me to share a publication with many wonderful authors.

Chris Cooper did a fantastic job editing Insider.

I loved Star Wars Insider for many years before I had the chance the write articles for it. And they are some of my favorites! Interviewing women who have voiced Leia over the years, fanzine creators, deep diving the Jedi Council. Sad news.

Mirror image dragon flame design by Chris Panatier.

Review quote:
"The Vale of Seven Dragons puts the epic in epic fantasy. With a vivid world that continues to grow with each chapter and a fantastic cast of characters, this propulsive coming of age story blends genres and familiar tropes with ease. From fae groves to cosmic horror and a mind-blowing climax, I'm raring to read more in this expansive universe Jendia Gammon has created!"

The cover of Jendia Gammon's THE VALE OF SEVEN DRAGONS, art by Chris Panatier.
A red and gold border design of dragons facing each other. Three humans stand between the border: on the left, a young Black man, Prince Beaumain, with turquoise eyes and reddish hair bound by a silver crown, wearing grey, blue, and silver house colors and silver dragon brooch for his country, Catellaith; he holds a silver dagger. In the center, a white young woman, Princess Githilien, aka Thilly, of Vickery, wearing a turquoise and copper dress and spiky golden crown, holding a silver and red sword upside down; she has long, curly auburn hair, hazel eyes, and smirks. On the right, a tanned white man with grey eyes, short beard, and longish, lank, golden brown hair, wearing a ranger’s clothes and holding a sword.

Behind the three figures, the sky is blue with rosy clouds; along the bottom of the image is a dark, fog-like mass creeping between them.

"Shoeshine Boy & Cigarette Girl is a charming tale of love and dreams, and how they fare against the dangers of the world. A retrofuture fable that endears and inspires in equal measure, highlighted by its detailed prose and heartfelt characters. A perfect love letter of a story for Valentines Day!"
