But I would still not call Arkham LCG a deckbuilding game, and that’s because there’s no mechanism of variance regarding what cards are offered. It’s just “cards you own”, with experience costs and deck restrictions.

A meaningful distinction, but a difficult one to draw a precise boundary between.

It’s interesting because some games play in-between deckbuilding and constructed deck. LCGs particularly have systems that allow for the introduction of new cards into your constructed deck between plays/scenarios, which is a sort of longform deckbuilding.
