You take the coolest pictures. Among all the other things that make me a fan. xo

I wish I had the envelopes I scrawled the lyrics to Ignoreland on back when … hitting Replay about 50 times with a new friend one awesome twentysomething Saturday .. I’m sure we misheard many, lol … but we felt great doing it.

Wishing Charles the best! Some encouragement: We recently had almost all of our cat’s teeth removed for the same issue — and she feels so much better. (She also has a murmur! I wonder if these things go together?)

I like neither wings nor football. My cat had the best snack of her life (she didn’t have to share!), and now we’re cracking an ebook in front of the game. She’s asleep on my knee and arm, purring softly. Touchdown?

She makes starting a wannabe stressful day easier — and harder. 🥹

Just called my husband by my own name, twice. I think this day is quite done. 🥔 🍴

Thinking about Magritte tonight. The Treachery of Images, etc.

Diving back in to edit something I wrote/compiled a couple of weeks ago, and I think I need satellite GPS ... haha, sigh.

What is “unconditional discharge” and why isn’t it trending?

(Ducks out. Fetches fresh water for cat. And a snack.)

Oh right, politics … I’m not sure anything good comes from meeting with Trump. I don’t know what he does to people, but they never leave the way they entered.

I started seeing my current therapist in 2019. I told him TODAY that his office temp back then was too warm for perimenopausal me.

This is everything you need to know about me. Probably.

So much has happened since I last posted here! I follow the shiny happy people types. For now, I'm here and on Threads. Dibs to the first platform that allows me to format text with italic. 😜

Eh, life keeps cattle-prodding me along (thank you, Life! 🙂). How have you been, Matthew? How are the kitties?

At this point (and hi btw! :), I’m just following along so I can understand the satire.

I am slowly reading this book too. My cousin recommended it based on the rec from another of our cousins.

Yikes, I hope you heal up without too much trouble … surprise surgery is not an awesome surprise. :(

I like the way you organize your Substack into sections. You provide helpful and entertaining discussions for writers and readers alike.

I would be wise to introduce passive income into my business, but I haven’t had (or made!) time to kick anything off.

I haven’t needed to build an audience (or client base) via social. I do watch for dubious TOS/privacy changes and trends in algorithm/feature updates. Relying on any platform exclusively, as some do with Substack, for income is a bold choice. I … am not a bold person. 😂

How do you feel about Substack? I figure any growing pains are understandable, and at least for the moment, the folks who run the service seem to prioritize creators. Also reassuring that they allow creators to export content to another service (assuming this is still true?).

Well, yikes for her then! I hope she escaped unscathed. I didn’t even know ticks had nests! Egad…

Scheduled my next Covid vax for Friday … earliest available nearby as of yesterday. I had a pneumonia vax last month, and have a flu shot scheduled in a few weeks. That leaves RSV.

All I need now is rabies and distemper.🙃

I fed the gaggle in our office park … my coworkers adored me, I’m sure. (Like why do they follow you, Coll? Yeah, about that … lol.)
