There have been only 17 comebacks of 24 or more points in NFL History.

Largest comeback in Super Bowl history...2017 Patriots down 28-3 to Falcons to win 34-28.

If it's not clear, the season that UA is calling the 1897 season for AIU baseball is actually the 1896 season bc the Yearbook was the source. It will be a continuing problem when decades later someone, maybe under the direction of sports publists Bob Cheyne, compiled Razorback sports history.

Clearly BMI is associated with fat as a percentage of body weight etc. But when inflammation is a huge driver of heart, vascular, lung & neurological diseases, body thickness appears to matter. Peace.

Intracellular melatonin is prophylactic. How does this relate to BMI? It's the penetration depth of NIR into the body. My understanding is about 5 cm. The brain has its own media & structure to allow deeper penetration. But to the heart & lungs, the anti inflammatory melatonin (and energy) matters.

Better outcomes. Near infrared light has been found to assist mitochondrial production. Of course ATP is produced but if ROS were the only other thing produced, cells would be worse off. Mitochondria produce intracellular melatonin on orders of magnitude greater than the pineal gland.

I was not a believer in BMI until Vitamin D testing during Covid produced tepid results. Higher admission levels of Vit D correlated with better outcomes but there always lingered the possibility that Vit D levels were a marker. That appears to be the case. Latitude also correlated with

If you have read my posts here, maybe you quibble with whether the 1893, 1894 & 1895 baseball games... All after formal creation of the AIU Athletic Association are "seasons." Given that 1895's single game has been accepted as a "season," the inconsistency would be glaring. The gaps below are ๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ.

The first game in the season that you are familiar with as has been published for more than half a century was on May 5, 1896, as detailed in multiple contemporaneous accounts. The fourth game of the season occurred on May 30, 1896. We've known the season. History has poorly documented it.

Although there is no set lead time to ensure that all copies of a yearbook are printed, when a school year ends in late May or early June, the yearbook would need to be at the printer sometime in April, possibly before the baseball season began. One telling point is the lack of dates.

Proof for the record of Arkansas first year baseball comes from these pages. Why not? They are from first year book published in 1897 for the 1896-97 school year. So what's the problem? Have you worked on a yearbook before? When does it go to press?

But I don't need to tell the Avid fans among you about the 1896 baseball season. You already know about it if you've read the media guide history of records by season. It's the very first line. Sharp, um.. Dude that says 18 - 97!! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿคฃ

The words used to describe trainer changed Within months. The word "trainer" became used interchangeably with "coach." BN Wilson became AIU's 1st Coach in 1896 with usual laudatory remarks about his knowledge & ability. The baseball team got around to organizing in April.

AIU football team news was not done for 1895. Shortly after the first mascot name was revealed, it was announced that the University was looking for a football "Trainer." It appears to be the first instance of any publicized football arms race for Arkansas. 54-0 victor Texas had a trainer.

Not graduated in 1894 but was a student. After being in college for any length of time, he would not return to high school. It was the 1st research indication that the historical accounts of Arkansas playing high school teams is incorrect. What follows will be deleted by the time I call it a day..

The 6 book-style page account is undoubtedly from a person with a developed style and education with an intimate view and knowledge of the game. The lesser of the revealations in the account tells how Selby Ward was a former teammate on the AIU squad in 1894 and now played for Ft Smith. Ward had

Game account reveals the what had been lost to history. To be sure, there is no byline for the story. Its length and detail are not from anyone cranking out column inches to sell copies. It's tone and descriptions were certainly from Futrall as promised. Futrall officiated the game as was common.

Of-your-pants affairs at the time without an upheaval in the sponsoring institution. But the Thanksgiving Day Game would remain the one stable fixture. Ft Smith Athletic Assoc would be the opponent. The game itself was in Fayetteville on Nov. 28, 1895 and resulted in a 30-0 AIU victory. However, the

Until February 1896. It is for that reason that the walk outside the entrance to Old Main has no graduates for 1895. 1895 isn't done. It's 8 am when this is being posted but you might want to get some Kaluha or some bourbon to spike your coffee. No account gave a team moniker or Mascot in 1894. In

Immediately to a semester system beginning in September. The result saw the current school session end in July 1895 followed by a break. The 2nd trimester may have completed, the records I've seen are not clear. But even if a senior had completed all coursework, commencement would not happen again
