Just the act of getting my sh!t together to submit made a HUGE difference in my writing life- regardless of outcome, so thanks to ALL of the people who put time into this-editors, first readers, other writers who submitted, everyone! Y'all have rekindled my passion for writing!

Yay! My birthday week no less!
Awww…I’m so sorry you missed the deadline! But honestly the work will still be totally worth it!
Im celebrating by reading!!! YES!
I love this thread so so much! Having just submitted, I feel such a sense of accomplishment (no matter what happens)! Thanks for the inspiration and the reminder that the process is just as important as the outcome.
Done! Not quite sure if mine is more book club or contemporary, but for sure it is Women's Fiction! And I'm so excited to have submitted for the first time!
First timer here too! No matter what happens, I feel like it was a huge step forward. Best of luck to you!
No matter what happens with my 2025 #RevPit submission, I met my deadline, feel a new sense of excitement about my project, and am so so proud of myself. Sometimes the process is just as important as the outcome. #Worthit
Women's Fiction (Contemporary) or Romance. My RevPit MS is contemporary women's fiction with romantic elements so I guess I've got them both covered!
Just finished Kate Fagan’s The Three Lives of Cate Kay- I liked it way more than I thought I would! Also just finished The Favorites by Layne Fargo- dishy, emotional, like reading a people magazine article with depth. Who knew I had any interest in figure skating?!?! So entertaining!
Yay to books about messy family dynamics!
I’m 99% sure I’m going to submit something!
Every time I think I have an answer to that, I change my mind. But I think I’ll go through the manuscript again with that question in mind. (And get some outside eyes!)
My kid asked for a Wooble for Christmas- those videos were invaluable to him! (I don’t crochet so was no help) He had tried with previous kits with no luck. Now he’s gone to the bookstore and bought books with patterns and have made some really cool stuff!
I love that you're so open in the genres accepted! Is there any one that you are more particularly drawn to? I have a women's fiction manuscript that I KNOW could use a dev edit! (also, I'm blurry on the line between contemporary and women's fiction-I think my manuscript would fit both-thoughts?)
My manuscript is currently dual POV, but I have thrown around the idea of revising to single POV-the question is just which point of view? (I love them both equally). I guess these are the questions for an editor!!
Awesome! My 14 year old son just started crocheting and he is now doing it ALL of the time! He loves to make animals!
Hi Nicole, how do you feel about stories where the females (sisters, dual POV) are NOT thriving, but figure it out and are thriving by the end? (also NOT a wholesome relationship with mother, but some redemption occurs as the story unfolds and reasons behind certain behaviors are revealed)
YAY! Fellow Diet Coke lover right here!
Where is your favorite place to buy jigsaw puzzles? We seem to be hooked over here…
Cooking like a madwoman, trying to gain some sense of control.
How’s it going?
It’s fine. I’m fine. Everything’s fine.
I need a Hedley & Bennett Apron, right?
RIGHT??

At the end of the day, don’t we all just want a bookshelf with a rolling ladder?
💙
Hmmm…I like that. Who knew that was a day? Who knew we would NEED that day?
