Oh yay!!! Love seeing it out in the wild. Thanks for the tag, Stephi!
Stop by the blog and check out why the boxer boys aren't very happy with me 🤣 Loved this book by @tanyaguerrero.bsky.social bookertsfarm.blogspot.com/2025/05/the-...
Thanks for the lovely review!
That would be my preference too!
Check out my cat-themed fiction book recs in Electric Literature!
Happy belated pub day to Cats People by @tanyaguerrero.bsky.social! This heartfelt, multi-POV read left me teary-eyed. Cat, a stray in Brooklyn, is a standout narrator—her perspective feels so authentic. A must-read for cat lovers. #booksky #catlovers #catsky
Thanks so much!!! 😺
Happy Book Birthday to my adult debut, and the book of my heart, Cat’s People!
😻😻😻
Z & I say happy pub day to @tanyaguerrero.bsky.social and her adult debut, CAT’S PEOPLE! For anyone who is looking for a hopeful, warm story centered around cats (who isn’t), acts of kindness and community, this is a must read! Link to buy below!
Thanks, Amy and Z!!! 😘😘😘
Yay! I’m not super active here yet, but it’s nice to see you here nonetheless!
I think our books should be friends. 😺
Yay! 😻
Current Read: Cat’s People by @tanyaguerrero.bsky.social. This beautiful novel follows five strangers who bond over a fateful summer—all thanks to a very special stray cat named Cat. Now, if Azzie ever gets off the book, I might actually get to read it. #booksky
It’s less than 2 months until Cat’s People comes out into the world! This is your last chance to preorder a copy or two at 25% off. Head on over to Barnes & Noble from February 5-7 and use the code: PREORDER25
Clearly, Crenshaw is silently plotting my murder after this utter humiliation. 😅😅😅
Today, honor a King, not a Felon. #mlkday2025
If you’d like a lovely distraction, you’re welcome to stare back at Fritos and his intensely orange gaze.
If only our cats could finish writing our novels for us. 😹😹😹
I mean, clearly, he’s earned it with those regal looks.
Black and white photo of a white man in a dark uniform with cap and heavy leather gloves. He has climbed up a ladder against a brick wall, and is gently extracting a shorthaired tuxedo tabby kitten from a gap between a few bricks. The cat looks highly displeased.
“Here A.S.P.C.A. men have to chisel out a couple of bricks to save a kitten.” From the book Cats Cats Cats Cats Cats Cats by John R. Gilbert, 1961.
Same!

And agree! 😜
Thanks!
Hey Tracy! That would be great! 😺
Ahhh. The look of pride on his face. 🤣🤣🤣
Ohhh. I’m in the process of making a recommended list of novels with cats in them for Electric Literature. I’ll add A Quantum Love Story up!
That said, I would love to follow more authors, especially those in the adult fiction realm since it’s a new age group for me. Oh, and publishing folks too, especially those publishing, promoting, representing diverse authors/titles. Add me up please!
