Eric, thanks for the kind words. I believe Moyes wants what is best for Everton—he just has a different view of how to do it that’s concerning in the medium/long term for me. Ultimately the kind of club we’re hoping to become won’t need any manager who exerts outsized control over the vision/plan.

Plenty of logic in suggesting the market for Everton will soften as we get closer to the deadline. But that doesn’t guarantee anything. Up to TFG to ultimately find a way as no one will accept “market forces” as an excuse if the glaring squad issues aren’t addressed. #EFC

TFG’s slow, methodical recruitment approach may certainly result in a much improved squad by the end of the window. But it’s ultimately their job to prove it, not your job to blindly espouse faith. I hope for the best and hope they get it right. Proof will be in signings. #EFC
