Me and @agneskreiling.bsky.social have seen a lot of cool species while on vacation in #Spain: #chamalaeon, #flamingo, #octopus and a huge #robberfly.

It has been a treat visiting @Theresahenke.bsky.social and hear about her work on #bioinvasions.

We had a busy Invasive Species Week at @iris-eeza.bsky.social!!
We joined the Macrobioblitz #SEI25, organized a public debate on invasions at La Guajira in Almería and were part of the organizing and scientific committees of IyrCIS (iyrcis.webs.uvigo.gal). Next year: more and better! :)

The human dimensions of biological invasions – involving stakeholders in addressing invasive species Can the knowledge and experience of recreational anglers in Iceland help us understand how far the invasive flounder has spread in the country?

How to include a human dimension in the research of biological invasions? @theresahenke.bsky.social talked to recreational anglers in Iceland to get their perspective on the spread of the European flounder. She was kind enough to share her story and findings with us!
