That being said, I had fun with it when I wasn't engaging with the aspects that they tried to implement. Overall it was kind of mid. And definitely not worth the price tag. If you can catch it on sale for $30 it's probably worth that much. Also, apparently the DLC doesn't add that much overall.

My experience with borderlands is as such. It starts off with a great idea and quickly loses it. The open world aspect is great but poorly implemented. The main story becomes more of a joke except for one of the areas being more important than the others. And it just kind of wraps up at the end.
