If you know how Bitcoin works, where the value is, and if it fits into your moral framework, sure, the IBIT fund is fine. If you have questions about what Bitcoin is, who uses it, how it works, or its environmental impact, then so some research and decide if it's for you. I do not invest in Bitcoin.

If Jesus had focused more on kitchen table issues and less on unpopular outcasts like lepers and prostitutes, he might have won more support from white working-class Judeans.

It seems to me like one thing AI would be terrible at is absolutely everything the Civilian Conservation Corps did.

Sheehy/Daines can vote against him cuz while they blindly support Pearce, they also realize he'll go through anyway so the GOP just needs to work out who gets "optic permissions" (see: not get Trump/MT voters' ire) to vote no.
So while Sheehy will vote no, he %1000 backs Pearce ideologically.

Flight path of a stratotanker that has been circling above glacier park all day. Looks like a plate of blue spaghetti.

It's been a noisy day in glacier with these tanker aircraft up there all day long

Which states are most exposed as soybean exports falter? - Investigate Midwest U.S. soybean producers are ending 2025 facing one of the most uncertain markets in recent years. China, by far the largest buyer of U.S. soybeans, has sharply reduced its purchases throughout the year...

Say it with me:

American farmers overproduce low value commodities for an increasingly competitive global market and other countries like Brazil and Argentina are happy to compete in an ecological race to the bottom, replacing rainforest with soybeans and selling them to China.

Scott Galloway says he’s a product of big government: ‘Taking bets on unremarkable people pays off’ | Fortune Galloway credits UCLA for his success, despite an initial rejection: “California taxpayers and the regents of the University of California saved my ass.”

I’m a product of big government. Everyone likes to shitpost the government. California taxpayers and the regents of the University of California saved my ass. fortune.com/2025/11/06/s...

Yeah I mean I like machines and it's pretty amazing to see that stuff but boy it's a heavy feeling to think about those same planes doing that same thing in far-flung corners of the world.

Nearly a quarter-century ago, Dick Cheney personally meddled in a govt report finding that Klamath Basin fish actually need, y’know, water—an act that led directly to the catastrophic salmon die-off in 2002 and thus paved dam removal’s way. Now Dick’s dead and the Klamath lives. Makes ya think.

Over 40% of corn grown in Indiana is used to make ethanol that cars burn. One acre of corn yields about 16,500 vehicle-miles per year of ethanol, which sounds high until you realize that one acre of solar yields about 2,700,000 vehicle-miles per year: 16,000% more driving for a given plot of land.

Totally, I just think the difference right this minute is that our export market has very suddenly evaporated. I think to make a change like this there would need to be a massive coordinated effort and incentives.

Our ability to live better is again crushed by the status quo.

I mean, 10x increase in net revenue per acre could get the attention of lots of farmers.

Sorry, that's not an area I know much about. There's no question that this scale would require a massive investment in storage and distribution.
