RECESS ROUNDUP: BUDGET CUTS GET FROSTY RECEPTION IN DISTRICTS We’re only halfway through the House Recess this week, yet already the outpouring of feedback from constituents about the misplaced budget priorities in DC is significant.

While Congress is home for recess, people have showed up at district offices, at state capitols, and more to protest GOP plans to cut public budgets and programs like Medicaid and SNAP in order to pay for tax cuts for the rich. And to resist DOGE, of course.
