A general run down of what translating/localizing a videogame is (in most big agencies)
1. Have strings with no context and ID with numbers.
2. Have a query sheet to ask question that can be ignored.
3. The strings are scrambled and not in order.
4. No visuals (images, videos or game)
This makes for a stronger point that games are art, art sparks reactions, that sparks criticism, discourse, y'know, that's the fun of engaging with things critically

All art is political. Your politics and place in society inform what you create and how you create it, even if you don't sit down and think "I am going to write this isn't the narrative to make a political statement." It's always there.
