I appreciate the thorough diagnosis, but what is the remedy? Even those of us that are constantly agitated by what's going on didn't know how to respond. I spent four years of his first term organizing with Indivisible, those strategies now seem insufficient. What can an individual do?

Big Deal: Art Activists Shepard Fairey and Gregg Deal Will Discuss What it Takes to Have a Powerful Voice "You first have to have your eyes open enough to diagnose the problem, speak out about it and then try to find the solution."

Check Out this fantastic opportunity to hear artists Gregg Deal and Shepard Fairey speak in Denver. Gregg is always an insightful speaker, how cool to have the two in conversation.

On rare occasions I get to feel slightly smarter (maybe more informed) than Hank Green. I'm sure tomorrow I'll return to the status quo.

What the article falls to mention is that they have soft wood, leaf out early, and drop late. Making them perfect victims for late and early snowfalls.

Kent Monkman Reverses the Gaze in New Denver Art Museum Exhibit You'll be wiping tears from your eyes after viewing one painting, only to turn around and burst out laughing at another.

Westword just dropped a fantastic review of Kent Monkman: History is Painted by the Victors. Also the Santa Fe New Mexican has called it and The Life and Art of Tokio Ueyama two shows worth making the six hour trek from Santa Fe for.

Both open to the public at Denver Art Museum tomorrow April 20.

This selection of photos will never do these paintings justice, so I hope you come to the Denver Art Museum to see the new exhibition Kent Monkman: History is Painted by the Victors (April 20 - Aug 17) or later to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (Sept 27 - March 1) 2/3

Kent Monkman’s work does something special. When spending time with it you find it subverting convention or engaging with unacknowledged truths in a way that is revelatory. The work seduces you with beauty and humor to reframe what you thought you knew about history, art, and indigenous people. 1/3

We know that Kilmar Abrego Garcia was wrongly removed from this country. But don't forget that 230+ other people were disappeared to El Salvador without due process. Do any of these men deserve such a harsh fate? Now the administration is considering the same for citizens.

Democratic elected officials, please don't treat yesterday like a victory lap, but rather a call to action.

Dropout is one of the best subscriptions I have. I'm truly surprised by how few people I know that are watching this brilliance. Jump on it by May 7 to lock in the lower price.

I saw one in the wild recently and it struck me how much better proportioned it is than the regular crown. It's a handsome car.

Watching today's Type Ashton video, it's frustrating to realize that DEN's goal of expanding Peña Blvd rather than transit may have to do more with parking $ than what's good for the city/travelers. I'm not sure precise numbers for DEN, but on average ~30% of US airport revenue comes from parking.

As job cuts for Colorado's federal workers roll across the state, some share their stories As DOGE and the Trump administration upend agencies, U.S. employees struggle with job security and making plans for the summer

Although the jobs are wide-ranging, there is a common thread in what the state’s federal workers are feeling: chaos.

I've had friends talk about my 1 mile ride to work like it's something so dangerous they'd never consider it. That's a problem if that's the perception.

Just received this photo from a friend of a warehouse in Kinshasa. These are tuberculosis medications--ALREADY PAID FOR--that aren't being distributed due to the Trump Administration's stop work order.
TB treatment is being interrupted in SO many patients around the world. What does that mean? (1/2)
