i know it's not that deep, but it's amazing how humans assign human emotions and gender roles to animals. i just watched a short that had two huskies on a walk pulling to greet another dog. the female dog apparently "wanted a boyfriend". the male dog "wanted to fight". exactly the same behaviour.
