An appalling yet plausible future: “The typical ailments of childhood—day-care colds, strep throat, winter norovirus waves—would be joined by less familiar and often far more terrifying problems: the painful, swollen necks of mumps; the parching diarrhea of rotavirus; the convulsions of tetanus.”

Picture of two children exposed to same source of smallpox. One (unvaccinated) is covered in rash the other (vaccinated) has no rash. This is a genuine photograph that was taken in the early 1900s by Dr. Allan Warner of the Isolation Hospital at Leicester in the UK. Warner photographed a number of smallpox patients in order to study the disease.
Vaccines work and do not cause autism. I will die on this hill.
These two boys had been exposed to the same smallpox source. The boy without a rash had been vaccinated, the one covered in rash hadn't been vaccinated.
