This is my Roknauts Biker, painted for the Salute 53 Judges Only category. All of us on the judging team took a crack at one this year. Real connoisseur‑level brushwork from the other judges, some seriously classy work on display. There was a vote doing the rounds too, though I’ve no idea who claimed the honours. They were all absolutely brilliant lovely stuff but one that really made me stop, take notes, and cast my vote was Jonathan Hart’s — beautifully judged work, absolutely top‑drawer stuff.

Last miniature purchase of the year (stop sniggering in the back). Gone big on AB naps, finishing off my division of British with two more infantry brigades, artillery and some light and heavy cavalry; and my German allies of napoleon with a brigade of Saxon infantry and a brigade of heavy cavalry.

Why are resale prices on TOW still so high on eBay… just looked at Bretonnian Squires (not terrible value on most online retailers) on the off chance I could find a deal: who is paying those mark-ups!
Other hobby update… finally swapped my 40 year old driver for something more current (a Ping 400). Modern drivers are cheating.
It’ll be GdB or GdA that they are used for, I’ve actually cheated slightly on 6… still flexible enough to represent formations in those games.
