Been busy with commissions (most under NDA). Just did my first art test for a real game studio, so excited!
No time for personal pixel art lately. How do you deal with this? Sharing a digital painting I made months ago.

New #pixelart piece. Went for a cozy vibe this time, heavily inspired by the incredible work of @waneella.bsky.social. Her art always pushes me to try new things.

Hope you enjoy it!

While I was working on commissions last week, my family and I made some fridge magnets.

I had this pack of Hama beads sitting around for almost a year and never used it, no idea why, lol.

This crap is everywhere. I use to listen to vaporwave/mallwave playlists and now I have to search like a miner to find a legit compilation.

Following up on my previous post, here’s a WIP from my pixel horror game.

It’s still super early, a bit buggy and rough around the edges, but I keep pushing it forward whenever I can.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Thank you! I hope to have a demo by October. But this is a passion project so I’ll keep posting related updates here.

Yo, don’t worry about it. I can let you use the original if you like (as long as the game is free) :)

The look was inspired by Scully and Clarice Starling since the game’s set in the 90s. And since it’s cosmic horror, maybe the similarities go deeper than just the visuals :)

Undertale. I’ve played it back in 2016 and it kept a lot of dark thoughts out at that time.

Oooh that takes me back! Great track!

IDK if it's just me, but it gives crazy Windows 95 vibes, which I love!

Hey! I will check the game, but meanwhile I wonder where did you got the game's itch io cover from? The old gray TV screen I mean.

This is Lucia, a character for my personal horror project inspired by Clock Tower and Silent Hill.

Still polishing some details, but wanted to share the current state. Feedback welcome!

Hi, I'm Kota.
I create both pixel and digital art, sometimes traditional too. I'm a bit late jumping on here, but I'm excited to start sharing my work.
Glad you're here, thanks for stopping by!

Definitely Pixaki. It’s similar to procreate and very intuitive. The only downside is the animation features that aren’t advanced as aseprite.

this is pure art

You should check Pixaki. It's my app of choice for pixelart on iPad. Hope to see your art soon!
