"Putin is a dictator. Putin has ruled Russia with an iron KGB fist since coming to power in 1999. He has ruthlessly quashed independent media, ended free and fair elections, crushed civil society and killed his political opponents."

Because it is true.

Kiitos ♥️

Tactics. Say something outrageous. Then appear to be lenient when countries reach 3-4%. Say thanks, knowing all along that 5% is out of reach for most.
Trump woke us from a slumber & made us even stronger + economically the USA benefits from NATO hundreds of billions of dollars.
Instead of attacking and trying to sanction Musk, maybe the EU should focus on the true enemy of the West, which is Russia.
"In 2024, the EU imported a record 16.5 million metric tons of LNG from Russia, surpassing the 15.2 million in 2023"

Elon Musk isn't the main news. The rape gangs are. And a much greater threat.
For example. Same realism. Means are different.

How Gorka describes Trump's foreign policy is not that different from the likes of Alexander Stubb when he talks about realpolitik. Means are different, of course.
I highly recommend this interview
"What people don't understand about President Trump's geopolitical stance is that he's not a neobuchananite isolationist; he knows that is asinine. Yet, he's not the other extreme; he's not a neoconservative interventionist"

Mielenkiintoinen haastattelu jossa Sebastian Gorka kertoo mitä mm. tarkoittaa Trumpin "Peace through strength" ajatus.
Gorka on Trumpin nimitys terrorismin vastaisen toiminnan johtoon. Senior director of counterterrorism.

"In today's world where election results are contested and disinformation challenges democratic discourse, I think we must be more vigilant upholding free and responsible speech, as well as media freedom."
Alexander Stubb
"Do we have the confidence in our values to defend them at any cost? Do we have enough respect for our citizens to protect our borders? Do we have the desire and the courage to preserve our civilization in the face of those who would subvert and destroy it?"
Donald Trump, Poland, 2017.

Giorgia Meloni "On the Russian threat. We have to understand that the threat is much wider than we imagine. It's about our democracy, about influencing our public opinions, about what happens in Africa, it is about raw materials, about instrumentalization of migration."
It will be interesting to see if it will be some mainstream outlet or X or @bsky.app with its citizen journalists (as @elonmusk says) that will lift Luigi Mangione into the questionable spotlight as it did with Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Glamorizing horrible acts.
Let's hope not.
"Volodymyr Zelensky endorsed Donald Trump’s drive to end the war in Ukraine “as soon as possible” @telegraphnews.bsky.social
People like you only want democracy when your own side wins. In other words, you don't want democracy but autocracy.
Nice move by him! Clean tie plus message to Putin. We are with 🇺🇦
Trump's choice of a suit and tie color does send a message when he met Zelenskyi and Macron
🇺🇸🤝🇺🇦
No, I am not.
I have a feeling that both Elon and Trump will surprise a lot of their critics.
Listening to an older Sebastian Gorka interview and the Biden decision came as a shock. In 2021 Biden lifted the sanctions on the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Weak and as we know now, a dangerously costly move. Maybe Trump is a better, stronger leader in some parts...

"Why should Ukraine be important to America first conservatives? What would have happened in 1776 if Spain, the French and the Dutch hadn't helped the US and send literally galleon of muskets and gunpowder because we are fighting the British."

SpaceX secured a Pentagon deal to expand Ukraine’s access to the encrypted Starshield signal on Starlink. A total of 3,000 terminals will now use this secure network, boosting Ukraine’s connectivity through 2025
www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
Why? Thanks is more appropriate. For Elon and the whole company.
"The contract means that 2,500 Starlink terminals already in Ukraine will get access to Starshield, a classified and encrypted signal over Starlink that's more difficult to hack into or jam."

Biden didn't go. His wife did. And Trump is the next president of the United States.
Clearly, you are not one.
Democracy is democracy, even if you don't like the outcome. That is what makes it not a dictatorship.
Because Biden didn't go and he is the next president of the United States. Good thing that he did, and he wore blue & yellow when met with Zelenskyi 🇺🇸🤝🇺🇦 Clearly a message.
