I always think I should make a thread of it, but I can't find the time, so here it is, one of the projects I'm most proud of: we developed the dataviz standards for the Quebec government's website. 📊
What they didn’t tell you is the episode was also sponsored by Big Livermush
You mean you weren’t all in on the livermush?
Thanks so much!!
🙏 thank you, Sonja!!
Thanks so much, Francis!
Thanks so much, Andy! I'm starting work on the Polygraph/studio side of things, so it'll be a bit for Pudding readers 😛 But excited to get to learn from the masters in the meantime.
Thank you!!
Thank you so much! Me too 😂
Thanks so much!!
Excited to share that I've joined @puddingviz.bsky.social / Polygraph as a journalist-engineer! I'm looking forward to taking a step back from daily news journalism, while continuing to get to grow my love of this field with a team I've admired for years.
These journalists all deserved so much better. 💔
I’m sorry for your loss 😂
You’re the best, Bec! 💚💚💚
A wonderful 'Senior Graphics Editor' job opening with Reuters based in Spain

Thanks so much!!
A graphic showing nine artists that are returning to headline tours in the U.S. after at least five years from their last U.S. tour. Sugar is returning after 31 years, Hilary Duff after 18, the Pussycat Dolls and Chapterhouse after 15. The Cab and Times New Viking are both returning after 13 years; Rush after 10 years; and Robyn, Lily Allen and Ariana Grande after six years.
My last #dataviz for @visuals.axios.com published this morning. www.axios.com/2026/03/15/c...
Excited to share what is happening next soon, but for now just grateful to have worked with so many incredible journalists in my 4+ years at Axios. 💚
I’ve read @hankgreen.bsky.social’s book. Things are about to get real weird.
They do. It comes up a lot in the context of the show. They make more jokes about it than anything else, but it’s an active plot point vs. background lore.
I'm suing Grammarly over its paid AI feature that presented editing suggestions as if they came from me - and many other writers and journalists - without consent.
State law requires consent before someone's name can be used for commercial purposes.

@albertocairo.com I saw you asking about a class action earlier - maybe a thread to keep an eye on
Dream #dataviz job alert!
Happy International Women's Day.
A little late update here: A month ago, I was laid off from The Washington Post, along with hundreds of my colleagues.
I’m incredibly proud of the reporting and visual storytelling I’ve done over the past five years, alongside some of the best journalists in the industry.
The Upshot is hiring a data graphics/multimedia editor. Come work with us and make weird things that help people understand the world!
