Today at school dismissal, I followed a suspicious pickup around for a bit, keeping an eye on them, trying to figure out if they were ICE. Then I realized they were keeping an eye on me also. Then I realized they were, in fact, other parents. Life in Minnesota, January 2026.

Heard any interesting/heartening thing from the courthouse today. Jurors. Usually people do their duty but they’re a bit crabby about it. Judges can sense it. Not since the ICE invasion. Fewer absentees, fewer excuses, more commitment, more focus. It’s like civics matters & they‘re defending it.
nothing has ever been more minneapolis
I would really appreciate if journalists who have done ridealongs would speak up about how important they are to helping Minneapolis. As I’ve said many times, opsec fears are the greatest threat to the networks we’ve built. But the reason we’re out here is to show the world what’s happening.
My friend Jake’s dad got shot in the face with a flashbang by ICE and has to have reconstructive jaw surgery.
there's this "minneapolis spring" account popping up on social media that gives me a weird feeling. anyone know who is behind this?
i forgot jim’s handle on here but of course it is @nbcstheslap.bsky.social
not that i've seen
shut up
The "paid protester" narrative makes a lot of sense when you realize the right just can't comprehend the idea of helping other people without a profit motive
The local police are really concerned about ICE agents’ sleep hygiene I guess. “This is just like Call of Duty” sound bites aside, the aimless stumbling and drunken guy with a shotgun/launcher tells me morale is in the fucking toilet.
i missed you too!!
every time i see a headline like this i think about how ICE takes billions of dollars FROM US that we should have in our communities to be building better infrastructure for impending climate disasters
i'm going to make more of an effort to be over here because a lot more locals are on bsky than twitter and a lot more community organizing is going on over here i think
The founders wrote the 2nd Amendment for a reason: So you could hold a cool gun while you nod approvingly at what the government is doing.
i think it's the only option at this point. we're definitely not going to just give up. it's win or ??? all out civil war????
I've been thinking on it for a while now and I've come to the conclusion: We're going to win.

thank you
i’ve been patrolling/following ice on my own but i wouldn’t mind getting hooked up with other people. is there a signal group or something?
lmao, there’s a possibility that a bunch of us are going to get martyred over voter rolls, and honestly, that’s probably as random as being upset about taxes on tea

i'm down, i want to do this. i have a gti and i'm a great driver.
🚨 It's time to panic about the SAVE Act passing in the House. 🚨
"It would require people to present a passport, birth certificate, or other documentation proving citizenship in person in order to vote [...] Many have warned that it could even make it harder for married women to vote."
tweet from Anthony Oliveira, posted on 2020-09-23: "every single day for four years I have thought about Nazi jurist Carl Schmitt gloating that you can dismantle a democracy right in front of a liberal's face piece by piece and all they'll do is convene breakout sessions and committee meetings til the boots are in the halls"
Best I can tell, we had a serious snorkeling accident on Lyndale Avenue.
