Finally cooked your coconut noodles the other day. Delicious but I had to disregard the no-chopsticks stipulation. Had no way of tackling the noodles with a spoon!!

Sorry to hear that. Aspirin works for some people. Think of it as natural willow extract if that helps. It's a blood thinner, so there are some contraindications for people with certain conditions.

Due to a glut of chillies I have had no option but to make a second batch of Turkish-style chilli sauce.

I'm on day two of kebabs for dinner, with homegrown chips. Today was chicken shish, yesterday was kofte.

Only have 10 jars of chilli sauce to get through...

Rayner saves his bad takes for times of strife so I'll say it's Big Jay.

My timeline is much improved for unfollowing the account that couldn't stop posting. Have unfollowed a second who also seems to never stop. Things are looking up, I can actually see what others are saying now!

I don't follow that many people on here and I'm finding I actually have to unfollow people who post all the time, because they end up being 75% of my timeline.

It's a shame...I think the algorithm needs to show me a bit less from the same accounts and try to mix it up a bit.

Sunday lunch was goooood: kleftiko of lamb shoulder cooked for 10 hours...

cinnamon roast potatoes...

garden salad, tzatziki and Turkish-style chilli sauce from veg patch chillies and tomatoes...

I smelt of lamb from 9am right through till now and regret nothing!

This weather is so tricky. Oh look I have stopped raining you can go out and buy ciggies now. Oh what's that you put your shoes on? Oh I think I have to do another rain.

The critical difference being that the left takes confused and diverse views because they have diverse info and different views about Good Things.

Libs are more unified and less confused: they agree on common (approved/top-down) sources of info, and in any case, they do not want Good Things.

In Back to the Future, the Doc was played by Christopher Lloyd aged 46. That's right, you're old, and he's still old.

Yes, I'll always treasure that book for exactly the reasons you say.

And yes, the reviews are right, it's the best

When I started my first pub kitchen pop-up the then-son of the head chef, now himself the head chef at the Singburi brought me a copy of Larousse Gastronomique. I declined to accept the gift until Sirichai had signed it.

I made very little use of the book, but my god I miss living near the Singburi

Managed to get a small harvest of snake beans from the veg plot, and made Thai Moo Pad Prik Kjing. The cucumbers are still numerous so served with a Thai cucumber salad with peanuts and some steamed rice. I may also have made Pad Thai and may now be a bit full...

I think 1. You already wrote a whole book and now you're doing ANOTHER BOOK? I'm already impressed I would have to retire

For now I've cleaned him up with a warm saline solution and some cotton pads. He's not over the moon about it but he seems better than before.

He smells terrible, like he did a few weeks ago when he got the first puss-filled hole in his head. If he was a dog I'd give him a bath.

If it's fighting then some enemy has managed to scratch, bite or peck a 1cm hole in the top of his head, only a few weeks after having done the same on a nearby spot. Seems too embarrassing to be real. The vet said he has allergies. I think he's done it to himself following a mosquito bite? Dunno

Taking my cat to the vets again tomorrow coz he once more has a hole in his forehead.

Such a tramp.

Yeah whole milk ricotta. It's the fat you want right, wouldn't you just get a measly haul with semi-skimmed?

2 years ago 0 0 1 0

I've made a lot of ricotta and it's just a matter of how long you let it hang but that pic is not even very dry. Not sure how you make a feta but my guess is it needs pressing and the water level stabilising.

That looks more like a ricotta but your excellent thread has earned you my follow

Did you manage to get much sunshine in the recent good weather? Certainly if not, get some extra strength vitamin D3 and dose-up.
