trying out using the mouse on the right hand and scrolling with the left hand on the trackpad, and it's really weird but also really interesting. it makes scrolling a lot on a single page (like with social feeds) less fatiguing on the mouse hand, given it just has a scroll wheel.

tap to click is on because the trackpad on the dell laptops that i have fucking suck, so i turned it on so i didnt have to click down as often. so i just got too used to it and had to turn it on for the macbooks too 😭

tap to click saves this thing because there isn't an expectation for good click feedback lmao

at least you can plug it in and use it wired, which you can't say about the magic mouse LMAO

it's funny cuz i like pushing down on the built-in trackpad a lot because the feedback on it does feel pretty good. it might have more travel, it might have a stronger haptic motor. the only real positives with the magic trackpad by comparison is the size and the ability to position it anywhere.

i already knew this was going to be a secondary device dedicated to gestures and scrolling, but like... im surprised how hollow the click feedback feels on the desktop one compared to the one built into the laptop. does not feel good at all.

so i yoinked a magic trackpad for video purposes (and also for personal use) and it's kinda crazy how less substantial it feels compared to the built in trackpad on the macbook, despite the fact that they SHOULD be very similar in concept. haptic feedback, force touch, etc.

Unhappy to report the phishing one is quickly becoming a real problem now. Why go to the trouble of social engineering when people will just give up their ID, financial info, biometrics, etc. to an AV portal? There's no standards so how can you differentiate a fake one from a real one?
