Would a light singe from a lighter work to burnish the edges? I know I have to do that for the chunky, fluffy yarn sometimes to stop it from falling apart

This cracked me up so badly! He's like like, "Ope! I've come into the void again. Oh hi Ghost!" Man is just so in love with his creature! ❤️ 💙 💜

I kinda want ugly shifter Taskforce 141. Like, Ghost is an Aye-Aye. Soap is a Hairy Frogfish. Price is a proboscios monkey, and Gaz is a Frogmouth bird. Theyre gorgeous men while human, but once they shift, hoo boy.

It's harder to find hiding spots for Soap's surprises since his favorite things are so strictly controlled. Price hides his hints instead. Tiny little clues throughout the day that once Soap pieces together has him sprinting to the demo hut. Price loves the challenge, and they love the results.

Price likes to hide surprises for his men--lets them seek out what he had brought in for them. A new rifle for Ghost? That was tucked away safely in Nik's chopper, Nik safely bribed with several bottles of the good stuff so Ghost can have time to find his prize.

Who goes out and when*
Gosh dangit

I can totally see Silco as the coordinator--the one behind the scenes, scheduling who goes and and when. The behind-the-scenes boss who sends someone out when he and Vander get a little too "busy"

Unapologetic Gaz is my favorite thing. He knows he can get away with this shit, and he revels in it

Soap carefully lay the leaf upon a bed of waiting soil, tucking the stem into the dirt. Once covered, he put the jar upside down over the cutting and finally turned to face his captain of the guard. Kyle “Gaz” Garrick was lounging in a chair, legs kicked over one of the arms, playing idly with a bag of pebbles he had procured from… somewhere. He noticed the king’s gaze and grinned lazily up at him. “Sup, bitch?”

They have a new flier that refuses to use Ghost because he's "too tall" and he just nods and agrees to support. It's not until the new flier gets thrown wrong and Ghost catches them while shouting at the idiot base that they concede that Ghost is indeed superior
I love gentle giant Ghost so much!

Im normal about these two, I swear. I love early-bird Soap getting night-owl Ghost prepped for his day! You capture these two so well! The stray hairs Soap's trying to tame? Fucking gorgeous. Sleepy Ghost? Immaculate. Lovely as always!

Depends on whether we are going for mild inconvenience or complete demolition. Then again, this is Brenda we're talking about, so both is good

A burning one? Or just a really stinky one?

No! Do you have help nearby? Doing things one-handed might get frustrating. Is it your dominate arm? I hope you're not in too much pain!

Soap who knew, from the moment he saw him, that he was gonna marry Ghost.

He tells Gaz so and the other sergeant laughs, patting his back and wishing him luck. He's gonna need it. --

This post was inspired by me talking animatedly to my husband while sitting in a car, and my watch *violently* vibrating to congratulate me for reaching my step goal.

Pinching the bridge of his nose, and exhaling a slow puff of air, Ghost left the two sergeants alone and went to go talk to Price about the accuracy of their electronics.

Soap was happily eating an apple. Ghost was confused.

Until Soap got excited.

Something Gaz said set off Soap and the man excitedly raised his arms, gesturing about wildly as Gaz laughed. Ghost watched as the "smart" watch registered the movement as "walking" and increased the step count.

Ghost started in the rec room... and found Soap sitting on the couch, talking to Gaz. Ghost blinked down at the tablet, refreshing the stats, then back up at his boyfriend. He watched the pair, looking for any sign of stress or exertion. Gaz looked like he had just come in from training.

Ghost's tablet was hooked up to Soap's smart watch. Why? He had no clue. Soap did it. Now it was proving useful as the tablet read that Soap was at 2k steps and rising. According to his watch, his vitals were normal, so at least he wasnt in pain. Rolling his eyes, he went to nab his Sergeant.

Ghost had unceremoniously dropped Soap onto the rec room sofa before trudging to his office to fill out reports ad nauseum. He was getting the occasional text from Soap, then it all stopped. He wasn't initially worried: Soap had some painkillers in his system after all! Then Ghost checked his tablet
