Totally, but I don't think the current opposition to gambling is anti-home poker games or casinos or the lottery. I think its having the ability to ruin your life on your phone while sitting in traffic. The ease of access is a big part of it.

I also think gambling prohibition was less than five years ago and worked pretty well where as alcohol prohibition was a disaster.

Drinking has a social benefit in that it can create/service community. Gambling has no social benefit.
