Personally, I spent the four days in back-to-back meetings renewing partnerships, exploring new ones, and pitching AI Visibility and Partnership Solutions.

CloudFest remains the one event where the people who actually shape this industry gather in the same room.

𝟲. WordPress is growing up.

The WP & Agencies Summit on Day 1 made one thing clear: this ecosystem has moved well beyond small sites and shared hosting. Managed hosting, enterprise infrastructure, and integrated agency services are where the conversation is now.

𝟱. AI Visibility is the next frontier for digital businesses.

Brands are starting to ask "do I exist in AI-generated answers?" LLM discoverability is becoming a real business concern, and I’ve already tested a couple of solutions that are trying to fill this gap.

𝟰. Cybersecurity is no longer an add-on.

DDoS mitigation, DNS security, and AI infrastructure resilience came up in almost every infrastructure conversation. The threat landscape is clearly accelerating, and providers who can't speak credibly to security are losing deals.

𝟯. European cloud alternatives are gaining serious ground.

I noticed a real increase in European-based providers positioning as credible local alternatives to the hyperscalers, driven by regulatory pressure and growing appetite for infrastructure independence.

𝟮. Private LLMs and data sovereignty are now product categories.

Dedicated solutions for on-premise AI, sovereignty-compliant deployments, and GPU-optimised hosting infrastructure for AI workloads took the centre stage.

𝟭. AI has moved past the MVP phase.

Last year, it was still presentations and prototypes. This year, hardware and software providers are showing up with real case studies and deployment numbers. Buyer conversations are finally grounded in evidence, not hype.
