Hilarious stuff when Mum is wired up for a sleep study.
If this doesn't work then I'll be closing for a siesta 3 - 4.30pm.

Trig pillar painted white with the top part chipped away. This works out well for the tradition of sticking a wooden cross into it at Easter time. Grey sea of Morecambe Bay in the background.

Sea in the background but no mountains, I picked a bad day.

Always wondered about this out-of-place-looking hill right in Morecambe. Turns out it's Torrisholme Barrow: Neolithic or Bronze Age mound on the top of an ice age drumlin.

The matching shade of purple paint was nowhere to be had (under ยฃ50), so I did spay paint. Just going to do white next time.

This is definitely in my top 10, although I don't go to it much because I get emotional!

The smugness of someone who's got themselves a lanyard even though they job doesn't require a lanyard.
Seriously, ask me anything about anything.

Completely hidden by brambles but the wall is still there and I could hear running water under the moss.

A low stone wall surrounding a circular pool in a fueld. One of a few St Patrick's Wells along the Lancs coast. This one isn't well known, but the legend is that St Patrick came ashore here from Ireland and struck his staff into the ground for something to drink.

Really aching after yesterday - this one took some finding.
