I think you're onto something, as I mostly noticed the smearing when playing Nine Sols, after playing through ~10h of MKW earlier.

🔴 #Gaza: Rescue teams found the bodies of 8 emergency responders from Palestine Red Crescent, 6 from Civil Defense and 1 from the UN.
Their ambulances were hit by Israeli forces. "They were here to save lives. Instead, they ended up in a mass grave."
These abhorrent acts require accountability.
The first major Polish city to join the Powering Past Coal Alliance, Katowice has successfully diversified its economy, focusing on services, technology, and culture to help replace jobs lost from coal - reducing its unemployment rate to 1%. https://buff.ly/42FU0U3

Some of you may have read about the situation regarding our new landlord wishing to add a new redevelopment break clause, with only 6 months notice to our lease.
For now, we're simply asking you all to share & sign the petition below;

Would be nice if the rumoured & leaked & practically confirmed by Matsuno remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics actually came out this year.
there is "cringe" and then there is "telling /pol/ he is a father who gets lots of sex".
Would definitely recommend other movies by Saulnier if you enjoyed this one (Blue Ruin, Green Room).
Looks super neat!

There’s a setting to turn down the intensity of jump scares in case that’s a dealbreaker for you. Hope you enjoy the game, it’s excellent!
Still, that should be a great gig, hope to enjoy! I tried getting the tickets but they sold out so quickly…
Reading order of Warhammer 40K short stories and novels written by Peter Fehervari (also known as the “Dark Coil”).
“Greater Evil” is really good, as are his other short stories depicting Tau (“Fire & Ice” is also excellent). I’ve been following the “best” reading order from the list below, and pretty much everything up until “Cult of the Spiral Dawn” (what I’m reading now) has been good to great.
We have a properly warped perception of how much various sectors contribute to the UK economy. The fishing industry, which is constantly in the news and to whom politicians of all rosettes regularly play, adds less to GDP than Games Workshop
based on what I read, it’s crazy how big the gap is between the quality of Fehervari’s prose and pretty much any other W40K author. have you read his other novels or short stories? Fire Caste is sooo good.
I find that installing most apps via Homebrew on macOS & WinGet on Windows makes setting up new machines much easier. Keep a static list & batch install with a small script. Some bits need manual installs, but it’s more manageable when that’s just 5% of the total.
this makes me so happy
the added "high risk, high reward" factor with the SD card placement as well ("did I forget to remove it? oh, it's snapped in half now...").
Would you recommend it as a good starting point for someone new to the series?
Zelensky:
“We are not ready to give our freedom to this fucking terrorist Putin. That’s it. That’s why we are fighting.”
a glorious round robin who is so handsome it is magnificent brings u to ur knees

If Putin wanted to be in a direct military conflict with NATO, he would be. He wouldn't need an excuse but could easily invent one.
There is no scenario of a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia that ends in Putin's victory.
Either he falls, or we all die in nuclear fire.
He knows this.
sounds like the “rhythm violence” tagline would suit both.
SH4 OST is so underrated in comparison to the 1-3 ones.
It’s much more sinister than the eerie and tragic SH2 OST, and openly abrasive, contrasting with SH3’s blend of melancholy & angst.
Can we please add a ‘skip the 10 mins long series summary—I’m already watching’ option to the Netflix/Prime/Apple TV documentaries? It’s just *so* unnecessary and makes every series feel the same.
New post: "Ageism in Games: Stop Calling Old Games Outdated: A Self-Review of Anodyne"
A plea from myself after Anodyne got the 'old games were worse' treatment the other day.

Yes, this also disturbed me. A really distressing, to me, aspect of the Me Too backlash has been the return of the unspeakableness of sexual violence—so that we’ve gone back to a situation where men accused of doing horrific things to women get to profit off a taboo against anyone mentioning it.
I think the Super Eyepatch Wolf videos on the topic (and sadly that old video from Max Landis -> terrible dude, interesting video) have shown that people are interested in it, just need someone to provide context to what is actually happening on screen.
100%! I only ever engage with Professional Wrestling through other people's analyses / recaps of things, so this would be super interesting to me.
Screenshot from the game "Slitterhead". It shows a woman standing in an apartment corridor with splashes of blood covering the walls and some bodies laying in front of her.

Slitterhead wrapped up. Smart gameplay mechanics + plot delivery was to be expected from Toyama, but was quite surprised by how big of a love letter to Hong Kong cinematography (especially Wong Kar Wai) this had been. 100% can feel the low budget, but it's such an atmospheric & beautiful game.
