I’ve not conducted Beethoven 9 since 2008 whilst I was an undergraduate at Durham! It’s great to do it again now!

Three Year 5 classes from #Congleton Primary Schools singing a concert alongside the wonderful Congleton Community Choir, accompanied by an ensemble of young professional players & members of Congleton Youth Orchestra!
A bumper day in #Congleton as we completed our singing workshops in primary schools ahead of our concert on Friday with Congleton Community Choir & Congleton Youth Orchestra. And the next day come and hear Congleton Choral Society in concert with the fantastic National Festival Orchestra!

A busy week at @officialuom.bsky.social This morning I was back with my two conducting classes working on Appalachian Spring and a session on BBC Ten Pieces music. Then it was Chamber Orchestra who were rehearsing Brahms Schicksalslied and Fauré Cantique, followed by some Parry with Ad Solem!
