Bold But Not Too Bold book cover with central tarantula
Cabaret in Flames book cover with robot-prosthetic-limb protagonist's arms sliced open.
Go read "Bold But Not Too Bold" and "Cabaret in Flames" by Hache Pueyo (@hachepueyo.bsky.social). Both horror-adjacent.
The former is a lush, vibe-heavy gothic sapphic romance/mystery. The latter is a cannibal mystery/romance that's more plot-focused and political.
Both are truly superior works.
Witch Hunter Robin. I was obsessed with that show. The vibes were impeccable.
Also idk if Pete and Pete was all that niche, but give me that good surrealist suburbia. I can make it even weirder <3
I completely understand. Even if it's not my fave it's still buttressed by the fact that Somebody made this, in spite of everything around us! They found the spirit of creation! I gotta respect the hustle if nothing else
Gender should literally just be a common thing that people *should* examine in order to have a fullness of life, even if nothing massively changes. It should be as common as developing a fashion style or a music taste. Deconstruction of societal imprint, no matter how “far” you go, is freedom.
TRUST TEACHERS. Two words that, if people actually widely believed them, would utterly reform education in this country.
Oh my god it's so frustrating i thought i was going crazy until i pulled out some older work
Two papers laid one on top of the other. The bottom has a distinctly greyish tone, while the top sheet is more ivory.
I don't like how grey the new 'Natural White' Saunders Waterford is, compared to the beautiful ivory of their older stock. The difference is so startling, I'm quite seriously disappointed.
All my favourite paper manufacturers have changed their recipes for the worse. I could cry.
Thank you!!
You know what, that's a beautiful and ominous sentiment, and i sincerely hope the same 💕
Same i don't know how many more social media sites i can be run off of until i just start folding my art into paper airplanes to launch into the unforgiving sea
we know
😭😭😭 noooooo
BLUESKY IS A WEBSITE THAT TURNS (post by jay.bsky.team claiming that bluesky is made with AI) INTO (picture of bluesky not working)
Oooo this sounds awesome!!
mockup cover of an anthology called [RECORDED], showing an old fashioned film camera with colorful glitch overlays, and a skull vaguely visible in the background; smaller text says "edited by Merc Fenn Wolfmoor"
'sup, sickos — who likes FOUND FOOTAGE???? good, because SO DO I and I am going to spend my tax monies on BRINGING MORE FICTION INTO THE WORLD and editing an anthology this summer. because we need more weird art and I want YOU to help make it. 👀⬇️

Yeah bsky is starting to feel like it's built on top of sand in earthquake country 😬
A screenshot of bsky failing to load anything but the basic template of the site

i am making short story chapbooks to sell at the lit fest. I like them. they're cute. i drew a match for one and repurposed some spider legs for another. that's a normal sentence don't worry about it
imagine how fucking bad it's going to be when AI toddlers get a bit older, imagine how absolutely fucked their worldview is going to be, their perception of other human beings or humanity in general
Thank you!! I wanted a happy spooky waudna today 🖤
A limited color drawing of the character Laudna from Critical Role. Laudna is sitting and weaving a chain of pink flowers which trail down her body to surround her puppet Pâté, who is a rat with a raven's skull for a head. Laudna is a gaunt undead woman with black and white hair and bulbous doll like eyes
It's been a while since #waudnawednesday and I Miss Her. Have a #laudna with flowers <3 #criticalrolefanart #criticalrole
this is probably why there are so many furry buckaroos. i have yet to do a book tour without one or two furries showin up to prove love at a date or two
so maybe one day i'll write the actual post about how literal thinking has lead to self rejecting out of slush piles for years but today I wrote about the decision to self publish because connecting with readers is more important to me than anything else. #books

Boy was playing and i overheard "oh no. I wanted to go to norwescon, but somebody died. Under my Volkswagen." So he's got a bright future as a suspiciously bereaved widow in a Sam Spade novel
This video was so good. I had no term for misery memoirs when i worked in the bookstore but man i really could have used it. Didn't know that the satanic panic could get crazier than what i already knew and boy was i wrong!
hey i’m being real fucking serious right now
call your reps. this is insane. he already had thousands of jobs removed from the us fish and wildlife service. dismantling the us forest service will have a devastating impact on habitat protections.
im too mad for words.
Ohmigosh thank you i am glad you're enjoying it. Sweet and horrible is exactly what i was aiming for 😅💕
This broke my heart and made me laugh today. No one ever really makes art for a living. When you make art for a living, what you actually mean is you answer emails and do promo for a living. The art itself occupies increasingly atomized periods of time.
