Did you know Shakespeare actually had a son? His name was “Hamnet” which is likely where the character Hamlet in the play got his name from! Hamnet died at age 11 in 1596 however of unknown causes. The play Hamlet was later written in 1599.

Macbeth is such a good play. I’ve reread it about 13 times now and every time I reread it I just marvel at how good it is. Definitely one of my favorites of all time. Even people who don’t like Shakespeare (do those kinds of crazy people even exist?) would probably like Macbeth!
