"They maximised their opportunity to get lucky" 🤣🤣🤣

So... they got lucky? Glad we could agree.

And then entered a draw that placed teams randomly on each side of the draw, no?

You avoided PSG, City and Real.

Barca were your biggest threat and they're out.

Luck.

Can't believe people still think Slot deserves another season.

Do you watch football with your eyes closed?

All the worst cunts in the world - from journalism to politics, the Kermlin to the White House - are suffering tonight.

Kerkez. He's shown flashes of what he's capable of.

The entire team, bar Szoboszlai, have been bang out of form all season.

I'd like to see him under the tutelage of a different manager.

Get in there Hungary!

Can wanna be right-wing authoritarians like Trump, Farage etc now accept Western societies don't need or want this crap.

You might get away with it for a few years, but the people will take back their country and democracy!

Putin & Trump will be screwing tonight.

Hungary's system was & remains rigged in Orbans favour, yet he's be well and truly massacred.

Putins lost his blocker in Nato.
Trumps too stupid to reconise what this means.

Amazing scenes in Hungary. I couldn't be prouder of the Hungarian people tonight.

Newcastle lost 2-1.

Eddie's job could be on the line.

No I don't.

They were clearly ignoring your evidence based points to just defend Slot with pretty much nothing of substance.

Pretty obvious to anyone who reads it.

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

No it's not.

It's symptomatic of the views and behaviour of a small set of fans who have refused to criticise Slot, at all, at any point and use any excuse to excuse our performances and results.

Seen most of those accounts with those opinions already, many times.

The amount of supposed Liverpool fans making excuses for Slot on this thread is strange.

Are you Liverpool fans or Slot fans?

Seem like the sort of people that if Slot repeated all of this next season, they would just find more excuses, as not being wrong is more important to them than LFC.

He'd be interesting at Liverpool.

As close to Klopp's style of football as I have seen.

And the style of football that suits Anfield and the way its atmosphere works

Obviously he's got no experience at a big club or maintaining that style playing twice a week. Injuries are high at Bournemouth too

Health Insurance doesn't cover you.

It just rips you off, then you are ripped off again when you use Healthcare that you paid for.

But no actually you have to pay again.

What's the difference between you posting your opinion saying accept it was it is at the moment v someone posting their opinion saying they want change?

And if fans wanted Slot to have another season, the club would take that into account. Fan power has been proven many times. A club is its fans.

Because if we don't look at it in more detail we run the risk of repeating this again next yr

Slot is quite obviously one of the main root causes, not saying the only one

But let's start by fixing the most glaring obvious issue, the manager.

The longer he's been in charge, the worse we've become.

I'll admit, I don’t see it yet.

Obviously they are far more skilled & knowledgeable at their roles than I'm giving them credit for.

But £125m on a CF who had at least 2 fair sized injuries a season at Newcastle? Availability is key for that sort of money.

Agree with the better manager.

I'm not concerned with the value, but we famously work within our revenue.

Hughes followed one of the most dynamic & hardworking front 3s, which PSG have copied in my opinion, and replaced it with an injury prone CF and a CF with no work ethic or fight, for £200m!

The question here is, have they based their strategy around a manager who won the Prem in his first season? Therefore, the strategy is wrong, as he is not the right manager.

Or it's a manager agnostic strategy and we just have the wrong manager to excute it?

But signing 2 x 80m+ CFs concerns me.

Agree mate. Fans having opinions about their team and club is bloody disgusting.

Sit there in silence you cretins!

I've never been as convinced of Edwards' genius as some.

Klopp was the real driving force behind our success.

My only concern with getting rid of Edwards as well, is having no sporting director at all. We've seen the mess no SD can also get you into.

Hughes should also go in the summer.

He brought Slot in. Did all the analysis and thought Slot was the answer.

He then executed the ridiculous transfers in the summer.

Hughes is not the right man to clean up his own mess.
