Promotional photo for Death Comes To Pemberley with James Bye as Fitzwilliam Darcy and Jamie-Rose Duke as Elizabeth Darcy, dressed in suitable Regency-era costumes
A few weeks ago, death came to Albert Square and we said goodbye to Martin Fowler.
This May/June, Death Comes To Pemberley with the WORLD PREMIERE stage adaptation at the Mill At Sonning, and we say hello to James Bye as Fitzwilliam Darcy. plus @jamieroseduke.bsky.social (Casualty) as Elizabeth

First look at Mr. and Mrs. Darcy…
I’m still in a state of disbelief!
What a dream.

So thrilled to be making my stage debut playing Elizabeth Darcy in the world premiere of Death Comes to Pemberley at The Mill at Sonning and UK tour…
I’m still lost for words 🙏🏻
Can’t wait to get to work with this gorgeous team ♥️

A few snaps from the most crazy few days in Abu Dhabi… Being an actor is completely bonkers, sometimes 🤯🙏🏻♥️
In a completely mad twist of fate, yesterday I booked a super last minute commercial job… That I did not think would go my way.
I booked it at 4:00pm.
At 9:25pm that night I was sitting on a plane about to take off to go shoot it.
Lads, I’m in Abu Dhabi 😂🇦🇪🫶🏻
Life. Is. Mad.
I couldn’t bring myself to watch the inauguration of that absolute plum.
But from what I’m now hearing and seeing images of… It sounds about as awful as one would imagine.
Ugh.
SENSATIONAL.
Oh, but LOOK AT HER 😍😍😍
Last year I booked and filmed my first TV job… A very poorly woman in BBC’s Casualty. It was an emotional first job - and I’m so grateful for it and to have worked with such brilliant cast and crew.
Here’s to 2025. Here’s to an exciting, productive year for all my fellow creatives ♥️
A new year doesn’t change anything by magic, of course. But life does have its odd rhythms and things can go up abruptly as well as down - as discussed by the Greek tragedies and Alanis Morissette. So if 2024 has been rough on you, keep the faith and good luck as we go round again.
Christmas pudding or head of Hades?
Feeling the need to say, “yes, I know, I’m sorry, I love you, I’ll be back soon, I love you, I’m sorry” EVERY TIME I LEAVE THE HOUSE.
It’s been a while, but occasionally I draw portraits… I need to pick up a pencil again soon - get back in the groove.
These are some of the ones I’m most pleased with ☺️
Grayson Perry
Sophie Okonedo
David Bowie
Eddie Redmayne
‘And it's a human need to be told stories. The more we're governed by idiots and have no control over our destinies, the more we need to tell stories to each other about who we are, why we are, where we come from, and what might be possible."
- Alan Rickman
Her spotty tummy brings me much joy ♥️

Honey being… beyond adorable, frankly 😍
So, when I’m not acting, I work in a lovely bakery… Fingers crossed one day there will be more line-learning and less coffee-making BUT y’know what… I do rather love this job, too. I work with such talented folk. And they’re kind and so supportive of my dreams.
Big love to hospitality staff ♥️

I wasn’t familiar with this poem… but I think it’s rather beautiful.
Apologies for the phone shadow.
Post you from a different era
1995… Having a cracking time on a table in a cottage in the Highlands.
Strength and honour…
Lets go!
#GladiatorII
Haha, last one for tonight then:
Ever Fallen In Love (with someone you shouldn’t’ve) - The Buzzcocks
☺️
Oh! And…
Bohemian Like you - The Dandy Warholes
(I’ll stop now 😂)
Heaven is a Place on Earth - Belinda Carlisle
Sinnerman - Nina Simone
That Don’t Impress Me Much - Shania Twain
As Time Goes By - Louis Armstrong
(A very eclectic mix - and there are so many more!!) hehe ☺️
Thanks, lovely! These were done by the brilliant Rosie at Yellowbelly!
They’re actually from March ‘23 - kinda fancying some new shots at some point soon, we shall see!
Cheeky little headshot share… ‘cause why not?
Wolf Hall - The Mirror and the Light is astoundingly good.
Mark Rylance is mighty in his softness and understated delicacy… And yet you still see the steeliness and cold calculation in his looks. He’s so incredibly inspiring to me. His stillness is entrancing.
Watch now!
