Iraq Seeks Deal To Swap Kidnapped Academic For Jailed Iranian Baghdad is working on a deal to free kidnapped Israeli-Russian academic Elizabeth Tsurkov in exchange for an Iranian jailed in Iraq for murdering a US civilian, security sources said Saturday.

The SOHR reported that "311 Alawite civilians were killed in the coastal region... by security forces and allied groups" since the clashes began on Thursday, bringing the overall death toll to 524 people, including 93 security personnel and 120 Assad loyalists.
