'Urgh....I haven't eaten since yesterday afternoon. If I show them how hungry I am, it'd be so embarrassing...'

"Call for me once you're finished. For I'll be right outside the door." With that, Frederica left, leaving the two women to their own devices.

The silver maiden eyed her breakfast, inwardly drooling as she struggled to keep her composure, resisting the urge to shred into the meal in front of her like a glutton.

She smiled, settling the tray down onto the table and removing the lid to reveal a simple breakfast of eggs and powdered croissants, just like Emilia had said.

"I'd say that I hope I didn't keep you too busy, but considering how bright the mood seems, I'd say that I didn't."

Softly, the knob would twist, a blonde maid with hair as yellow as the sun and emerald green eyes stepping into the room while holding a tray of freshly made breakfast.

As if on cue, a knock on the door could be heard, followed by a mature and ladylike voice. "It's me, Frederica. may I come in?" To which Emilia responded with a welcoming tone of manner.

"Ah, just the time! Yes!"

"Oh, Himmel... thank you. Unfortunately, we don't have a mirror, so I'm afraid I can't directly appreciate it, but knowing you, I'm sure it looks wonderful on me!"

Emilia couldn't help but feel a warm feeling in her chest, clueless about romance as she was. She understood how a man placing a flower in a woman's hair could be read as romantic.

She did as she told, closing her eyes as she patiently awaited for him to tell her when he was done. Softly, she'd open her eyes to be greeted with a warm smile, and her signature white rose in one of Himmel's hands.

Until Subaru came along, Emilia had only viewed the stars as pretty things to look at, but after a detailed explanation from him, she had gotten a newfound appreciation.

Spending the whole day watching Subaru's adorable sleeping face would've been extremely fun.

"Oh, really? Then let's watch the stars together!" She announced cheerfully, pointing out to them.

Seeing how slowly he got out of her lap, Emilia chuckled. He probably realized he couldn't lay there forever, but even if he hadn't Emilia wouldn't of minded much.

"Ah, isn't that dangerous? Especially when Christmas is meant to bring people together, not pull them apart..."

"Alright, but make sure to give it back, okayyyy?" Plucking the flower off her breast, she'd place it gently into his hand.

"Oh, you want it back?" She asked, a bit puzzled. It wasn't like she didn't trust Himmel, but moreso confusion for why he would want the present he gave to her back. After all, she had seen how kind and gentle he was with those children, playing with them until nightfall.

She giggled playfully, returning to her seat while holding a spoon, slowly bringing it to his face. "Now say aahhh~!"

"Sorry for taking so long! I got caught up by many things, but now that I'm back, I promise that I can devote all my time to taking care of you."

"Alright, wait just a second!" With that, Emilia would stand up and proceed to leave the room, closing the door behind her and giving him time alone to be in his thoughts.

After approximately 30 minutes, the half-elf would return, holding a bowl golden stew filled with chicken and potatos.

"Don't you understand how unnecessarily cruel you're being? Treating something like that which people made for happiness...it's just wrong!"

Hey, that's mean! I'm sure a child could've appreciated that!"

"....Himmel....I love it!"

Emilia gasped, taking the Yellow Gerbera and placing it on her clothing.

"How does it look on me?" She asked, coyly leaning forward.
