Only been to Michigan Stadium since 2013, but there is a significant difference in volume between the stands (esp. higher up and in the corners/endzones) vs. on the field. I've been on the field at OSU for before and there's not a qualitative difference in loudness I can remember vs. Michigan

I've noticed the METARs tend to be hit-or-miss in severe weather, I only learned about the timeseries page a few weeks ago and it seems to be more consistent with auto-updates every 5 minutes as long as the sensors keep reporting
