My biggest art-related goal for this year is to make 100 pages of comics. Closing in on 50. This Skamigos book is gonna be like a Treehouse of Horror.. but in the summer. Then another Skamigos in the fall, and maybe another issue of Super Cool and Stuff?? Who knows!

As I grog into the world every morning I’ve been listening to an episode of @heavyweight.bsky.social . It’s beautiful and funny and reminds me that being a human is, most of the time, a pretty great experience.

Aaaaand I made this short comic with some tips for tabling at a zine fest that I hope is helpful!

Also I made a new Skamigos comic called Skamigos Sell Out and took it to PIE in Pittsburgh and Grid Zine Fest. It’s sold out. Oops. I’ll have more soon.

I’m the only person left in my family who can speak Spanish. That kinda sucks!

Reading comics about grief at 3 AM while trying to process my uncle’s death today, thinking about my aunt’s funeral last week and contemplating how I over-extend myself as a countermeasure to actually dealing with the feelings of my dad’s death two years ago. So having a pretty normal one over here.
