I can't quite put into words how amazing it is to be immersed in Warhammer 40k, and then be drawn to what is effectively the first book in the Imperium of Man's timeline. This is where it all started, and yet, this is where it all ended.

Next up: Valdor, Birth of the Imperium.

The book started off a bit slow, but quickly picked up the pace. It was fascinating reading about everyone coming to terms with the Horus Heresy being done, finished over. There is a healthy mix of Heretic and Loyalist POVs, as well as side characters such as Sindermann and Malcador's Chosen

Starting off with Ashes of the Imperium, Book 1 of The Scouring. Even though the book came out in 2026, I only just finished it today.

Starting the book with Theokon of the Iron Warriors and ending with Theokon really made things feel like they came full circle.
