R.I.P. Éliane Radigue, one of the most innovative and radical composers of our century- if you haven’t heard her music yet, prepare for something simultaneously delicate and oceanic. I don’t love the word “genius” but she deserves it.

I’d love to compare notes w you in a week or two. I need to block out some time to dig in w Dorico. Using Finale became increasingly annoying as the kludgy workarounds piled up but now it’s weirdly bittersweet, each time I use it I wonder if it’s the last time

Yeah that’s similar to my current set up which involves an old laptop that’s offline —it’s basically a toaster oven—that I just use for finale while I learn another notation program.

I’m sorta running Finale 26 on Sequoia and sometimes pages don’t print (and can’t write them to PDFs).
