we were going up the height where grumento nova sits - to go grasp the last touches of daylight and the enchanting hues of the blue hour, past all the town's silent streets and descents.

in late wintertime up on the mountains by the sirino, the twilight can still wrap you in an embrace of spine-chilling climates and soothing silenced views. a contrast weighing wonderfully on all the senses. please keep that first image vivid in your mind.
