Last weeks were stuffed. Deadlines, a short vacation, trips here and there, aim to grasp as many events as I can while feeling like it may be the last chance. I enjoy sending all the finished projects these days. Big hopes 2026 will be less terrifying as it promises to be.

Five weeks... It was stressful. I'm glad it's over. Vacation is in a week, it'll be ruined by unexpected A's deadline right on the last day of vacation, meaning she should work every day we are on vacation. Internet will be shut down, all hopes are on hotel's WiFi. But spirits are high!

Forgot to mention! We went to a paleontology museum a week ago and yesterday visited a friend with cooking party and made 1. Meat pie 2. Cinnamon rolls 3. Carrot cake with frosting 4. Japanese flan. We are overworked these weeks so needed some reboot from time to time.

So much has happened during the last two weeks. We did a hilarious sculpture, washed a flat many times of styrofoam particles, now for this week A is doing costumes designing for a christmas play. I'm doing comms as much as I can because we really should enter the year with a positive balance.

A is doing a foam sculpture for a movie. Production sent her four packs of foam instead of four sheets. I'm glad she is warm and insulated whilst I'm in a trip.

Yesterday was quite fun Halloween celebration with A's friends. Here you may see host's cat few hours before he stole the evening by salivating and f-ing one of guests shirt. We were wearing Jay and Silent Bob cosplay. I made cocktails.

Oooof it's now time for A to get sick from nerves. Gallbladder issues. She has two days on young artists exhibition ahead, I recall all my hacks of living with gallbladder problems to help her survive these nervous days.

Sometimes good things are happening without our input, today we got our water clean (we lived with sewers smelling water for 1,5 years, now they changed pipes under the building), my ears healed themselves and I had nice dreams. Wish there will be more pleasant surprises.

Last roses of the season from my mother's garden

Today I allowed myself to have a completely free day of relaxation. We went to thermae ($10 per 2 hours), ate pizza and didn't bother with wet heads and took taxi. Sometimes I feel down and only later realize that I haven't been (properly) outside for many days. It's good to enjoy life.

Everything is going ok. I'm working, Arina is doing her project. Cat Alice will have a treatment back in my hometown with parents. Weather is November-ish, so we'll go to thermae on a week. I try not to read news because all together it may break me.

I have a plan to check up her health tomorrow and if it's ok, I'll take her to the surgery on my next visit here.
