I’m currently playing through Baldurs Gate 3 again, and enjoying it even more than I did the first go round. With that being said the Divinity trailer hit so hard knowing that another masterpiece from Larian is in the works. That trailer was insane, can not wait!

I accidentally called a group of old ladies “old ladies” this morning, and I feel awful about it…
Game 11: Planet of Lana
This game has been in my backlog for awhile and with the upcoming second game I thought I’d check it off, and wow what an impact such a short game had on me. Beautiful art, and music, the story telling with no actual dialogue or text was amazing. Can’t wait for PoL 2!
Game 10: Peggle 2
I have been a big fan of Peggle for a very long time now, from Peggle 1 to the Peggle add on in wow that I would play in flight paths (and for many minutes after I landed) I’m glad I finally took the time to play Peggle 2 was a great game to play when I had a few minutes to spare!
I have been playing a ton of single player long story driven games lately and need a palette cleanser. I have never played a splatoon before and am really thinking about getting splatoon 3. How do we feel about Splatoon?

Game 9: Mario Kart World
Okay I beat the 150CC and saw the new rainbow road (which is amazing btw) the game is a blast and the open world gives me more to do when I’m not playing with friends! Now I just hope more of my friends get Switch 2s so we can play together!
Game 8: Spilled!
A great quick game that’s a relaxing joy to play! Good palette cleanser from a small Dev team. Also wonderful that a portion of the game cost goes to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation, I love a game with a cause!
Game 7: The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild
Don’t yell at me but this is the first Zelda game I have ever finished, and I get it now the game was wonderful, but I needed the switch 2, and an updated game to get through it. More Zelda games to come I want to play them all!

Pokémon Violet on Switch 2 is such a jarring difference not only technically, but it looks like a new game compared to what I played on my OG switch last night absolutely wild…
Secured the package.

I thought Shin Megami Tensei was its own franchise separate from Persona? Or am I completely mistaken?
Game 6: Coffee Talk
A little less game play than I expected however the visual novel design of this game was the perfect thing to play in bed on my steam deck before falling asleep, the story was fun and had a plot twist I wasn’t expecting. Was definitely worth the play can’t wait to play CF2!
Why do people get so offended by ketchup on a hotdog as if we’re talking about a steak, and not a mash up of meat stuffed into a tube?
Game 5: Super Mario Odyssey
I had Started this game quite some time ago but just never finished it up, and with Switch 2 on the Horizon I wanted to tie up my loose ends, didn’t stop for any reason just got distracted and never came back but glad I finally did the game was a blast!
Game 4: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
I know a lot of people are talking about it, but this was my most anticipated game of this year, and it did not let me down. The story, visuals, and music are all beautiful. This is my my personal GOTY and, I find it hard to believe anything can dethrone it.
Game 3: Peglin
What a fun little Peggle like game, Not much to say other than if you like fun indies, Peggle, or Rogue likes than you have to play this game!
Game 2: It Takes 2
This game has been on my to play list for a long time, and with the studios newest game Split Fiction on the horizon I wanted to have this in the bag before its release. I got to play with one of my best friends and it was such a fun experience can’t wait ti play Split Fiction!
Game 1: Octopath Traveler 2
This game was calling me, I was intrigued by the 2D art style, and soon after beginning each individual story of the travelers had me hooked what a lovely JRPG that was a fantastic play on my steam deck!
This year I tasked myself with actually Finishing video games instead of starting them and, very soon after starting abandoning them to play WoW or some mindless online game like, TFT or Overwatch. This is my thread of finished games for for 2025, it may not be a ton but at least it’s something!
So based on hype, I put a sleeve of my thin mints into the freezer. Im happy to say that they just tasted like thin mints no better no worst. I could have eaten those things 18 hours instead…

Literally anything, they could have even told me it was delayed and I would have felt better!
Disappointed at the absence of Fable the other games all look amazing though.
This has to be my favorite OST ever, Elder Scrolls Online, with an emphasis on the Morrowind Chapter. I think Brad Derrick did an amazing job with this game. Let me know what other soundtracks I should check out please!
That “?” Better be news and release date for the new Fable game!

I played the hell out of 3 back in the day and dabbled in 2 and most recently played the anniversary remaster last year in prep for the new game. I do want to complete 2 before the new one releases!
I’m excited to see what they can do, it seems from the few trailers that they are keeping the spirit of Fable alive!
Yes sir! But new developer so we will have to see how they do with this beloved IP
