For some reason the revelation that I actually live in a condo(minium) and not an apartment has my mind completely blown. Like in my brain condos are some fancy places. Come to find out the difference between a condo and an apartment is who owns it.

The moment you are so tired of everything that has happened and disappointed you in your life in the past 3-4 years that you much prefer to read about things that are negative from the get-go rather then be possibly disappointed again in something you like/enjoy.
In bed and almost falling asleep when I got a sudden craving for potato chips. Now I am weighing if it is worth having to brush my teeth again... I am also very comfy under my blanket. But damn I want potato chips which I actually happen to have in the kitchen

For a lot of us, losing Twitter isn’t really about losing ties to the company itself. It’s losing 10+ years of real, asynchronous communities, professional development, the ability to get gigs and clients, the ability to promo/share your art on an extremely broad scale. The loss of that has impact.
Only a matter of time now.
Honestly, so am I. I am genuinely sad about Twitter right now. I was going to say it feel weird to grieve for, essentially, a domain name and branding, but then I remembered Twitter was a place and an idea, wildly imperfect but even so, and now it's just so thoughtlessly... gone. It hurts.

when movies get deleted for tax reasons, they should legally become public domain. people should be allowed to upload it anywhere they want. that's the tradeoff you make if you wanna delete your own movie released this year for a few extra bucks, and i think it's fair
