And also, I'm not really defending I just think all the fans have insane expectations.

People shit their bricks when minor stuff gets changed. Imagine mojang actually doing something worthwhile. Like Caves and Cliffs or Trial Chambers

Yeah, that's another issue with the whole thing. If they spent time doing that, they'd spend less time making the next new keys to jingle in front of players.

Yeah, the golden dandelion should have 100% been tied to the Sniffer in some way.

I'd much rather them take a development cycle similar where they work on a content update for 2 years and do all the technical stuff in between that time.
But we're stuck with the drop system because of people complaining about how long it took to get content.

It's not really laziness it's more that they have to develop the game in two different languages (which is also why they cut legacy out)
But also, because they just aren't. The "just a flower update" Patchnotes are a mile long of stuff done under the hood to improve the overall game.

End update is literally an overhaul though.
he Nether update also took forever to happen between the buzzy bees and the infamous caves and cliffs split.

They can't listen because everyone wants different things out of minecraft.
I'm not saying the new updates are good, but the drop system was literally in response to the community bitching and whining that yearly updates took too long.

I think Minecraft should just stop making updates just so everyone shuts up about "grr they didn't overhaul the entire game" every 2 months
