Recorded a fun episode of 8-Bit Back Issues last night with @filmstories.bsky.social Magazine editor @ryanlambie.bsky.social. We got to geek out about Your Sinclair issue 36. That should be out on 8 May for your enjoyment.

I wasn't just into video game mags, I bought other mags too, including the Red Dwarf Smegazine. In my defence it was over 30 years ago and I had a different sense of humour back then. It was crap ... in a funky skillo sort of way.

Personally I only found it disappointing back then because I played (and loved) VIII first, and wasn't keen on VII's more cartoony appearance. As a result, I didn't originally play it for longer than about an hour. I plan to correct that at some point.

I promised it would be a bumper episode and I wasn't kidding. After editing it down, this is the episode's final running time.

It's a great chat though and I know you'll enjoy it.
