A study gave homeless people $750 a month without strings. After a year, nearly 1/2 participants were no longer homeless, BUT almost 1/2 of people who didn’t receive the payments also found housing.
Homelessness is highly destabilizing and often temporary, and are actively trying to become housed.

The UK performed invasive inspections of LGBTQ asylum seekers. Examining the anus (because OF COURSE all LGBTQ people do butt stuff!!!). Questions about Oscar Wilde. It was restrictive and based on stereotypes of who LGBTQ people are.
